USDT at Stake: Five Networks Named and Six Refused

This is a cashier note, not a verdict on an operator. It reads one help article from Stake, the one that sets out which blockchain networks its cashier accepts, and asks what that article implies for a USDT transfer on its way in.

The article is unusual in a useful way. Beside the table of supported networks it prints a second list of networks Stake does not support, which is the rarest thing a cashier can tell a sender: not only where to go, but which wrong roads exist.

Cashier note: Stake. A name plate, not the operator’s logo.

Which networks can USDT be sent on?

On the article’s table the Tether (USDT) row names five: ERC20 network, BSC (BEP20) network, Polygon network, TRX - Tron (TRC20) and SOL - Solana. Those are Stake’s own labels, and they are worth copying exactly when you compare them with a wallet, because a wallet may call the same chain something else.

The row is one cell holding five lines. A cell like that is easy to fold when a page is copied or summarised, and the last two lines, Tron and Solana, are the ones that vanish. In the page source all five sit one under another.

What happens if the network is wrong?

The article does not describe consequences. It does not say a wrong-network transfer is lost, and it does not say it is returned. What it does is draw the line in advance, and it opens with the instruction the rest hangs on.

Its unsupported list names six entries. Look at what they are: four are chains, Cronos, Arbitrum, Optimism and Base, and two are tokens, one on ERC20 and one on BEP20. ERC20 and BEP20 are in the supported table for USDT, yet “Tokens on ERC20 network” is refused. Read together, the sensible interpretation is that a supported chain is not a promise to accept every token on it: the USDT line is taken, an arbitrary token on the same chain is not. That is our reading, and the page does not spell it out.

Arbitrum, Optimism and Base share the 0x address format with Ethereum, so a wallet will happily build a transfer to a Stake deposit address on any of them. They are exactly the roads Stake names as refused.

“It’s important that you send coins through their corresponding blockchain networks.”

Check the minimum deposit amount

A separate Stake article on deposit limits says the cashier cannot automatically process crypto deposits under $0.01, asks the sender of such an amount to contact support, and says there are no maximum limits in place. That is a floor for automatic handling, not a promise about what support will do with a smaller amount.

What this page leaves out

No welcome offer, no rollover figure, no licence line and no score. The Stake pages read for this note say nothing on those points that could be confirmed here, and an invented number would be worse than a blank.

Short answers

Questions this page gets
Does Stake accept USDT on Tron? Its network article lists TRX - Tron (TRC20) in the USDT row. The operator can change the list, so the deposit screen at the moment of sending is the version to follow.
Which networks does Stake say it does not support?Cronos via Cronos network, Arbitrum network, Optimism network, Tokens on ERC20 network, Tokens on the BEP20 network and Base network.
